The List!

You asked, and we are listening!

As pediatricians we are in the business of helping prepare parents to answer questions about their growing families.

During our every other month in-person Prenatal Pizza Parties and our monthly virtual Prenatal To Cradle sessions we discuss what to expect before and after birth. During these complimentary sessions we talk about how to choose a pediatrician, what happens during your hospital stay, and how to prepare for the first few pediatrician visits.

Every step of the way we give you information about our favorite topics including sleep, nutrition, development, safety and having fun with your family! We are all experts in these topics.  Our goal is to help you develop healthy habits from the beginning.

One of our favorite parts about gathering for these prenatal discussions is answering questions from participants. It is a collaborative way to learn from each other. A question that is frequently asked is what to have on hand to get ready to get ready, so we put together “THE LIST” to share with expectant families.

With so many options for baby gadgets, gear and more, this list provides you with our recommendations for the priority essentials.  Gadgets that are tempting (maybe via social media) but not needed include baby wipe warmers, bottle warmers, bottle proppers, gas relievers, bath thermometers, and walkers (especially unnecessary for safety reasons).

If you have a question, please reach out.  You can also find product information at the American Academy of Pediatrics parent resource website, Healthychildren.org.

Check out our website, follow us on Instagram and/or Facebook, and sign up for a prenatal session to learn about our experienced team.

And because you asked, here is THE LIST of our top priority items to have at the ready!
